Hello Riverside Family,
We have lived out our core value to Contribute extraordinarily this month. Between Impact Philadelphia and Fun and Freedom Day Camp, we have stayed busy serving hundreds of kids and adults both near and far.
In July, we look forward to more missions and outreach as we prepare for Bible Adventure Week and Impact Cambodia. Please join us in praying for both events to be purposeful, impactful, and safe.

CHURCH OFFICE: The church office is closed on Tuesday, July 4 for Independence Day.
BIBLE ADVENTURE WEEK LEADER RALLY: Wednesday, July 5 at 6 pm at the Pittsburgh Mills campus. All leaders who registered to help are asked to come as we make final preparations for Bible Adventure Week.
NEW-TO-KNOW SESSIONS: Sunday, July 9. If you are new(er) to Riverside, we know there are things that you probably want to know. The “New-to-Know” sessions will provide a time for this following both services on Sunday, July 9. This is a great starting point for you to get to know what is going on here at Riverside! A short session will begin after each service (at approximately 10:15 am and 12:15 pm). Let us know you’re coming HERE!
BIBLE ADVENTURE WEEK: Monday, July 10 through Thursday, July 13, from 9 am - 12 pm at the Pittsburgh Mills Campus. Kids from age 4 through going into grade 6 in fall of 2023, sign up HERE now!
ADVENTURE WEEK FAMILY NIGHT: Join us on Thursday, July 13 at 6 pm at the Pittsburgh Mills campus to see what our kids have been learning all week! The night will be filled with worship, laughter, and Jesus and an ice cream social after! All are welcome! Please contact Kasie Sullivan or Josh Hull with any questions.
SUMMER WORSHIP NIGHTS: Wednesday nights at the Pittsburgh Mills campus from 7 - 8 pm, ending on Wednesday, July 26. Worship Night will NOT be held on Wednesday, July 5. This summer, God is inviting us to come and draw closer to Him in worship. This weekly hour of praise and worship interwoven with prayer is designed for those who are wanting more of what the Holy Spirit is saying and doing. There is a deep work that God wants to do in us so that we are better able to steward His power moving through us, directing it also into the lives of others. We invite you to come to these Summer Worship Nights as we expect God to show up and do His awesome work!
LET’S GO! SESSIONS: We believe God calls us to go “all in” in our commitment to His mission and the Church. If you are ready to lock arms and partner with us in our mission to help people find and follow Jesus, join us for “Let’s Go!”. The “Let’s Go!” Session will be held on Sunday, August 13, with an option to attend at either campus. At the Pittsburgh Mills campus, the session will begin at 9 am and at the Oakmont Campus, the session will begin at 11 am and will last the entirety of the respective service time. Childcare will be provided through the Nursery and Kids Church. Register HERE!
BABY DEDICATIONS: The dedication of children is a promise of parents to offer their child (usually in infancy) to the Lord and dedicate themselves to rearing the child for the glory of God. You recognize God's gift of this child to you and accept the tremendous responsibility to parent the child as best you can with God's help. We will offer Baby Dedications at both campuses on Sunday, August 20 at both 9 and 11 am. Space is limited for each service. Registration is required and more information can be found HERE.
SAVE THE DATE – FALL C-GROUPS LAUNCH: The Fall Connect and Contribute Groups will launch on September 10. Sign-ups will be available online and at the campuses starting Sunday, August 27.
SERVE THE BURGH – SHARPSBURG FAMILY WORSHIP CENTER: Sign-ups are open to serve in Sharpsburg on Saturday, Aug. 12 from 8am - 5pm! We will focus on renovating three bathrooms and the nursery. Together we will form five teams: cleaning, electrical, general maintenance, painting, and a team for those who are willing to serve in any way they are able. Registration can be found HERE!
