Ministry Partners

Regional & Global

One of our three core values is to CONTRIBUTE to the needs around us both near and far. When you give to Riverside Community Church, you are also supporting our regional and global ministry partners. Since its inception, the family of Riverside Community Church has invested over $3,000,000 to plant churches, equip leaders, fight injustice, assist the poor, care for the sick and educate the next generation. We have reached beyond our walls by supporting over 75 missionaries in 28 countries. We have offered nearly 65 mission trips, including trips to New York City, Louisiana, Mexico, Belize, Haiti, Albania, Macedonia, Russia, Indonesia, Singapore, China, Thailand, Tibet, Kenya, Myanmar, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Laos, Kashmir, Nepal, and Cambodia. Below are three of the major areas of global emphasis we invest in each year.

One Day to Feed the World

Riverside receives an annual offering as part of the compassion initiative of Convoy of Hope called

"One Day to Feed the World". In addition to natural disaster relief and recovery services, Convoy of Hope's feeding initiatives serve over 125,000 children each day. Each $1 given is leveraged into $7 worth of food, water and supplies because of corporate partner donations.

Care for Kids

Riverside collects donations for the Southeast Asia Prayer Center (SEAPC) Care for Kids projects every year during Lent (pre-Easter) to provide for children in need overseas. These funds are disbursed to ministries providing care for children such as building renovations at Charity Children’s Home in Myanmar, needs in children's homes in Cambodia, and Touching Hearts in Tibet providing heart surgeries to children with heart defects.

Short-Term Mission Trips

We offer various opportunities to travel for the purpose of short-term missions. Each year we have several opportunities to travel with our medical missions team to various regions including South East Asia, Mexico, Latin America, etc. We have also sent teams to Kenya through our Convoy of Hope partnership. We have sent youth and adults to Myanmar, Cambodia, Thailand, India, Indonesia, China and Tibet through our partnership with South East Asia Prayer Center and youth teams to the Dominican Republic.
