INSTRUCTIONS FOR USING GIVE+

We are excited to share with you an updated Vanco version for electronic giving on the Riverside website or App called “Give+” enabling you to make one-time or recurring tithes/gifts. The new version provides you a means to see your giving history and make giving adjustments.


These are the steps for making a donation:

 

1. Go to the giving link on the Riverside App or website (riversideconnect.org/give).

2. Designate the fund, the amount and whether it is a one-time or recurring donation.

3. Sign Up (if first time) select ‘Create your Give+ account’ or select Sign In or using the same email you have used on the prior Vanco giving version.

     a. If first time; set up a password which must contain at least 8 characters including one upper case, one lower case and            one number. It may include @ # $ % ^ & ­- + = only.

     b. If first time, complete the personal information and credit card or bank account details one time only. The system will            save your information for future donations.

 

If first time, data from prior donations and your giving methods will be updated in the system after your first scheduled transaction (may take up to 24 hours) for you to view. The former Vanco giving version will also be available on the website if you prefer, but the two versions do link together and interact to include all donations in the history as long as you use the same email. 


You do not need to setup a new recurring gift, it should carry over within 24 hours. If it does not, please call or email Joyce Evans at 412-828-2488 or j.evans@riversideconnect.org for assistance.

Simple for you, Electronic Giving allows your contributions to be transferred electronically from your checking or savings account or your credit/debit card directly to the church account. Online giving for events is also available. While away on vacation or business, you have peace of mind knowing that your tithes and offerings have been received and are contributing to the work of RCC.


Text-to-Give

Simply send a text to 412-943-7679 with the amount you would like to contribute. Make sure to include the dollar sign before the amount. Example: $25. Within a few minutes, you’ll be sent a text with a link to register. Click on the link and enter your cardholder name and credit/debit card information. Once your registration is complete, you will receive a text verification and a receipt via email. For future giving, simply send a text to 412-943-7679 with the amount you wish to give, and it will process automatically! 


Giving Kiosk

A secure Kiosk equipped with a mobile card reader is available in the Connection areas for your use in donating to Riverside. You are able to swipe your credit/debit card to process electronic donations. Alternatively, you may key in the giving information if you chose not to swipe a card. Directions for use are posted at the Kiosk to get you started. Then follow the information on the screen until your transaction is complete.
