Global Missions

Riverside currently supports missionaries throughout the world in Cambodia, China, France, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Mexico, and southeast Asia.

Local Missions

Riverside currently supports home missionaries and ministries. These include: Convoy of Hope (also international), Cutting Edge Ministries, Life Choices, Light of Life Ministries, Rosedale Food Pantry, Teen Challenge of Western PA, The Blessing Board, Valley Forge Christian College, Women's Choice Network, Young Lives, and Young Life.

Other Mission Support

Riverside supports many other efforts such as short-term trips, disaster relief, and special projects on a one-time or periodic basis. We also endeavor to effectively minister and to meet emergency needs of the local body through benevolence gifts. Ongoing volunteer opportunities for local outreach include ministry with our Go Groups to food banks, Verona community dinner, ministry to the homeless, construction projects for local residents in great need, and participation in community help events.

One Day to Feed the World

Riverside receives an annual offering as part of the compassion initiative of Convoy of Hope called

"One Day to Feed the World". In addition to natural disaster relief and recovery services, Convoy of Hope's feeding initiatives serve over 125,000 children each day. Each $1 given is leveraged into $7 worth of food, water and supplies because of corporate partner donations.

Coins for Kids

Riverside collects coins (and cash) for the Southeast Asia Prayer Center (SEAPC) Coins for Kids projects every year during Lent (pre-Easter) to provide for children in need overseas. These funds are disbursed to ministries providing care for children such as building renovations at Charity Children’s Home in Myanmar, needs in children's homes in Cambodia, and Touching Hearts in Tibet providing heart surgeries to children with heart defects.
