Each camper will have the opportunity to learn about and participate in a variety of sports, activities, community outreach, Bible study and fun competitions! Registration forms are available at the Kid's Zone check-in areas at both sites. Space is limited and the registration deadline is May 14, so please don't delay. For more information, contact Dana Nichols or Josh Hull at 412-828-2488.
SERVE THE BURGH: Register today for Serve the Burgh taking place on Saturday, May 20 and Sunday, May 21. This year RCC is offering the opportunity to choose from over 70 service projects! Riverside's goal is to see that everyone who attends the church will take part in a service project. This is a great opportunity to invite friends and family to Serve the Burgh with you! Browse the digital listing of this year's projects at servetheburgh.org. Register there or via the Riverside App. Volunteers are available if you need assistance with registering (today in the connection area).
SERVE THE BURGH T-SHIRTS: Serve the Burgh t-shirts are available for a $5 donation in the connection area. If you would like to use your shirt from last year, you are welcome to do that as well.
NO NEXUS: No Senior High Nexus tonight.
DIRECTORY FORMS DUE: Summer Semester C-Group Leaders need to submit Directory Forms to David Kennard no later than Thursday, May 4.
RCC MEN'S SOFTBALL TEAM: Come out to support the Riverside team at the upcoming home games. The home field is at Riverside Park which is across from the Parkside site. The first home game is this Saturday, May 6 at 5:30 PM vs. Our Lady of Joy (Doubleheader).
SERVE THE BURGH OFFERING: Sunday, May 14. We will be receiving an offering to help offset the cost of Serve The Burgh (about $6,000 for supplies, resources, materials and administration). Please consider giving toward this major community outreach by designating STB on your check memo line and/or giving envelope. We also encourage you to either give your regular tithes and offerings electronically on the weekend of Serve the Burgh or you can give in services on May 14 or May 28.
CALLING ALL COOKIE BAKERS!: If you love baking cookies, the Serve the Burgh First Responders team is looking for volunteers to bake and donate cookies for the dedicated men and women who serve our communities on a daily basis. The team needs well over a thousand cookies. If you are interested in contributing, please email the office at email@example.com.
